Siemens Digital Industries Software recently updated its Simcenter portfolio, delivering advancements in aerostructure analysis, electric motor design, gear optimization, and smart virtual sensing. These enhancements are designed to streamline workflows, accelerate certification, and provide deeper insights into system performance. “These updates empower engineers to meet the evolving challenges of electrification and advanced air mobility,” said Jean-Claude Ercolanelli, senior vice president, simulation and test solutions, Siemens Digital Industries Software. “We’re delivering tools that drive innovation, improve efficiency and support a more sustainable and connected future.”
Simcenter enables faster design and simulation of compact, high-power-density motors with axial flux motor simulation. Engineers can quickly create lightweight designs using Siemens’ Simcenter E-Machine Design software, then transition seamlessly to 3D simulations in Siemens’ Simcenter 3D software for comprehensive electromagnetic, thermal and mechanical performance assessments. In turn, the latest software update introduces gear design optimization where engineers can utilize lightweight gear blank parameterization and an optimization framework to improve gearbox noise, vibration and harshness (NVH) performance. These tools help reduce late-stage design changes and streamline the development cycle.

More About FK:
FK Bearing Group Co.,Ltd. was orignally founded in 1969 and always focuses on Bearing Units in the past 50 years. FK has complete industrial chain automatic factory of its own, now FK is one of the biggest bearing parts factories in China with annal production and sales up to 18 million pieces.
2025 New Week FK Product Recommendation:
They are units of rigid cast iron housings with piloted flange cartridge and wider inner ring bearing inserts.
Standard painting in green (other colors are available for choices).
Standard duty (FC200) and medium duty (FCX) are available for this series.
End caps by pressed steel are capable of protecting against external polution and dusts.
The self-aligning ability of the ball bearings can compensate for slight static mis-alignemnt of the shaft. The bearing inserts are locked onto the shaft by means of set screws, eccentric locking collars, adapter sleeves and concentric locking collars etc.
Lubricants filled inside the spherical ball bearing inserts can be standard grease, low/hight temperature grease and food grade grease.
